Reviews and Ratings
I felt like I was inside a haunted house with the room's angelic bed, and the outdoor balcony was a nice touch. The large flat-screen TV was a bonus, but the European-style breakfast assumption caught me off guard. The service was exceptionally friendly and prompt, but the dining options were too normal for my taste. The location near the river stream and convenient stores was excellent, although the noise of the river and rain was a downside. The facilities, especially the camphor wood ambiance, were unique.
The hotel is nestled in a lovely location by the river stream, making it convenient with Atayal restaurants and snack stalls nearby. The wooden rooms exude a fantastic cypress scent, but become too hot without proper airflow. The service, though ensuring our safety, lacks the warmth found in western standards. The dining options, while tasty, are limited. Overall, a comfortable stay with a welcoming atmosphere and great location.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely lovely! The rooms were splendid, adorned in traditional décor that gave a cozy feel, though a tad dated, but still offered great comfort. Plus, they were really spacious, a definite upgrade from the Standard Room.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic, just beside the center area and overlooking the river, which was so beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although being on the upper floor without a lift was a bit challenging. The service was a mix; some staff were not friendly, but others, like housekeeping, were extremely helpful even though I spoke no Mandarin. The dining experience was okay, with simple but tasty options available, especially for the hot spring bath. The facilities were top-notch with three outside pools of varying temperatures. The price was fair, though I expected more choices in dining.
The hotel is surrounded by nature and offers a good view of the mountain, but it may have musty smells especially in rainy weather. The rooms are small and basic, with sliding doors opening to the balcony without partitions between rooms. The staff is helpful and friendly despite the lack of A/C during winter.
